Filipino table

A rustic Filipino colonial table, made of exotic Molave wood, that’s locally found in the Philippines, currently under strict protection. The matte surface of the table is covered with natural patina and traces of use. In the years 1565-1898, the Philippines was a Spanish colony, hence the Spanish style of the furniture. This type of tables was mainly made for monastic refectories in the Philippines. The table has unusual dimensions, it is quite narrow, so it can be used as a console table against the wall or as a kind of helper behind the sofa.

The tabletop is made of one piece of wood, thanks to the properties of exotic wood.
