Giltwood classicist mirror

Classicist mirror with traditional gold plating on the base, pine wood construction. The soaring form placed on the base fits perfectly in the high interior (so-called hall mirror). On the sides, delicate decoration in the form of garlands of laurel leaves. At 3/4 of the height, on either side of the frame, screws are visible, indicating the earlier presence of candelabra. Preserved original mirror panel with horizontal oxidation and delicate silvering. Mid-19th century, Denmark.
