Danish mahogany dining chairs. Empire style, 19th century. Set of 6 pieces upholstered with horsehair fabric. After renovation, with preserved original patina, waxed with beeswax. Brass fittings. The backrests and the front part of the chest are decorated with marquetry in the form of a delicate vein of light wood. The fittings are placed on a black background, in octagonal recesses. The backrests tilt slightly towards the back and are finished with baluster stained black.
