Royal coffee table, 19th century

Comes from Denmark, from the court of King Frederick VIII (1843-1912). It is the so-called “smoking table” at which cigars were smoked in the royal apartments. It is a signed oak table with brass trays in an oriental style. It consists of two removable brass tops/trays measuring 69 and 32 cm. The furniture has been renovated, preserving the patina and natural color of the old oak.
