Conservation analyses

Conservation works performed for public institutions require the preparation of conservation documentation: photographic, descriptive, but also invasive and non-invasive methods.
Photos are taken in UV and infrared luminescence to reveal details of objects not visible to the naked eye.

In the case of furniture, it is important to make uncoverings, because sometimes it turns out that under a thick layer of oil paint there may be a noble polychrome hidden.

In the conservation of architectural joinery, the basis of the analysis is to perform stratigraphy to determine all historical layers and their dating.
